About ALTACARE
ALTACARE Multiple Services LLC is a New Jersey professional services company founded in 2011 by Elsie Altara Bernier. It was built on a simple idea: people should not have to visit five different offices to handle everyday personal and business needs.
Through our five divisions (Business Solutions, Identity Services, Transportation Academy, Home Care & Companion Services, and Cleaning Services) we help individuals, families, entrepreneurs, employers, and community organizations get dependable help in one trusted place.
Our founder brings more than 16 years of tax preparation experience, a background in healthcare administration, and nonprofit leadership. Our team speaks English, Haitian Creole, and French, with conversational Spanish, so more of our neighbors can be served in the language they are most comfortable with.

Business Policies
What to expect when you work with us.
Appointments and walk-ins
Appointments are recommended so we can give you our full attention. Walk-ins are welcome for quick services when staffing and scheduling permit.
Cancellations
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Repeated missed appointments may require a deposit or prepayment for future bookings.
Fees and payments
Fees are quoted before work begins. Payment is due at the time of service unless we agree otherwise in writing. Accepted payment methods are confirmed when you book. For ongoing services such as home care, we send a PayPal invoice after we agree on a plan.
Refunds
Government fees, filing fees, and other third-party costs are non-refundable once paid. If you are not satisfied with a service, contact us within 7 days and we will work with you to make it right.
Scope of our services
ALTACARE provides administrative and clerical support. We do not give legal, immigration, tax-law, or medical advice. Our notary services do not include legal advice. Home care and companion services are non-medical. Some services, such as I-9 verification and fingerprinting, are offered only where permitted by law and any required authorization.
Client responsibilities
Please provide accurate and complete information, and bring valid photo identification for notary and identity services.
Confidentiality
We protect your information and share it only with your consent, as needed to complete your service, or when required by law.

We collect the information you give us through our request form, email, phone, or in person, such as your name, phone number, email address, and details about the service you need. This website does not require an account and does not collect payment information.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to you, schedule and provide services, keep required records, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with providers needed to complete your service, such as payment processors or authorized agencies, or when the law requires it.
Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards, including password protection and locked storage for records. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, or passwords through our website or by email. We keep information only as long as needed for your service and for legal, tax, and recordkeeping requirements.
